…-if anything is excellent or praiseworthy–think about such things Philippians 4:8

What an awesome thing it has been to be a part of the fluid dynamics of a mission being re-born by God’s hand, we can see Him at work all around us!  Just recently we heard from a local Navajo Christian businessman that had gone to Israel with the President of the Navajo Nation and he mentioned that he would be meeting with President Ben Shelly to present him with a Bible.  I offered to let him take one of the Navajo Bibles from the bookstore as well to present to him, and the president accepted it gratefully.  Please pray that God would use this as a tool for His glory in the Navajo Nation – the local businessman has now been asked to mentor the President in understanding God’s word.

The family is doing well, busy with home school and feeling a little bit of cabin fever.  We have had the usual struggles with various sickness, vehicle maintenance, and keeping the house warm in minus 20 degrees, but God is taking care of us through your support and prayers

Winter Challenges

January 17, 2013 - Author: Sarabeth Hill

Its been a challenging few weeks maintenance wise here on the WIM campus. Cold weather, down to 20 below at night, has created frozen water lines causing several of our staff to be without water for almost two weeks.  Scott has been working diligently with others on trying to get these pipes thawed, but to no avail.  We’ve received a number of suggestions with ideas on how to thaw the pipes.  Unfortunately, due to the location of the frozen pipe and the combination of plastic and metal piping, none of them have been feasible.  Scott even sought outside help, but none of the plumbers in the area will deal with frozen pipes.  Thankfully the forecast is calling for warmer weather with temps into the upper 40s for the next week and we are hopeful that they won’t stay frozen much longer.
