April Note

April 22, 2017 - Author: Sarabeth Hill - 6 Comments

August was the last time we included our little note to you and much has gone on in the time between.  Well, the deadline has come and gone for Scott’s full transition back into Radio engineering and he is still working on phasing out of Business Office duties.  We know that this can only be God’s doing and our desire here is to finish well the works that He prepared beforehand for us to walk in (Eph. 2:10)

We ask that you join us in prayer about our next steps in ministry (for wisdom and peace).  The mission leadership has asked for us to consider taking a sabbatical as a way of helping in the overall transition and to give us a break from the intensity of all that Scott has been involved in.  However, as we have prayed about this and seek God’s will for our ministry and family we have been feeling led to begin looking for other opportunities where Scott would be able to fully utilize the technical skills God has given him. Two possibilities have surfaced, but no definitive answer from God as of yet – which is good, otherwise it might be too much of a distraction from finishing well.

Our baby – Thomas – turned One year old this month!  Pray for Sarabeth and kids as Scott travels to the NAB radio conference April 21st-25th.  Happy Resurrection day, He IS Risen!  Thank you for partnering with God at work here in New Mexico!

Since it does not look like we will be able to be in Glennallen to help out with KCAM, Scott’s expertise could be well utilized there.

    God Bless!

    and our prayers.
