May Newsletter and Greetings

Summer Greetings,

Now, I know it is not summer officially, it sure does feel like it in Phoenix Arizona!  We made it up here during a special heat wave apparently.  I hope each of you are enjoying your own special kind of spring weather that God is giving you! (Romans 11:33 (NASEC) Oh, the depth of the riches both of the wisdom and knowledge of God! How unsearchable are His judgments and unfathomable His ways! (Shared from PocketBible for Windows Store (http://www.laridian.com)) We know that God is always in control of His creation, nothing happens by chance or coincidence.

So, as you enjoy your weather, here is our newsletter to enjoy as well.  Thank you all for your prayers and partnership with us in God’s work!  I have also attached our Commitment Card and an EFT form for those of you whom God might lead to join us in this journey through committed prayer or finances.

Journal Entry 5/30/18 – together on the Journey – A Long Week

Greetings,

It has been a long week.  This past Saturday we ended up having to take our 2 year old Thomas to the ER for dehydration due to a viral stomach bug that made him lose a lot of water in various ways and it was hard to force him to take any liquids.  Praise the Lord Thomas cooperated as best he could while being poked and prodded – 6 hours on an IV to get water and sugar into him and he is doing much better.  This mean little stomach bug is slowly making its way through other members of the family and neighbors.  Thank you for your continued prayer for our health.

Praise the Lord, He has given us good news to give to you in this email update!  We are up to 66% of our needed financial support – this is lower than last update, but we jumped the gun and have finally worked things out with KCAM as to our actual level of support needed.  Part of the confusion is that some have pledged and are missing in action (MIA).  If KCAM does not receive either a pledge card or see a consistent giving pattern they cannot count it as support for us.  If you need the documents, you can find and download them on our website under our support page (http://www.scottandsarabeth.com/?page_id=30 ).

We are going to be speaking at Passages Christian Church in Phoenix this June 3rd, doing a 5 to 10 minute presentation in the morning services and a meet and greet afterward.  Please pray for our traveling, ministering, and fellowshipping with this new church.

January Newsletter and greetings

New year Greetings,

We hope this note finds you well and enjoying God in a fresh new year! As we begin our Home Service travels today, we hope that our newsletter is helpful in letting you know how God is at work in our Family’s life. We are looking forward to visiting, sharing, and spending time with our friends and Partners in Colorado, followed by Wyoming, South Dakota, and Minnesota over the next Month and half. We will be in Colorado Springs starting on the 17th of January and visiting with Faith Bible Church on Sunday Jan. 21st, Northview E-Free on Sunday Jan. 28th, and Faith E-free on Sunday Feb. 4th. We are hoping to get together with you if you are in these areas and if you have a time we could get together and visit please respond to this email to let us know. We would like to fill our time up while we are in the area as it will be awhile before we return and will be attempting to make contact with at least a phone call.

Thank you for praying for safety in travels and that our testimony and visits would be a blessing to everyone we see.

August Newsletter and note

We are Excited!!! God has been very visibly working in our lives.  As we begin this transition to the Alaskan Field with Joy Media Ministries (KCAM.org), we are suddenly faced with the details of “downsizing”, packing, becoming mobile again, and reconnecting with our partners.  So, we are beginning the planning of our Home Service travels and would like to invite you to connect with us by phone call or text: (907) 320-1718; by email: hillside@scottandsarabeth.com; via snail mail: HCR 5 Box 310-5047, Gallup, NM 87301; or directly in person when we travel through your area.  As God has called our family He has also called those whom He desires to be partners (partakers) in this portion of His works.  In the coming weeks we will be putting together our calendar for the next 6 months and we hope to be in contact with you before we make solid plans to depart for Alaska.  As we visit with our current Partners in ministry we will also be looking for new ones to join us to help bear the burden of both the spiritual and financial needs of the ministry.  Spiritually, pray for the items on our newsletter’s front page; financially, we are looking to God to supply an additional $2,500 a month in support over the next 6 months (currently we are at about 63% of the goal of $6,500 a month).   If God is challenging you to be a committed prayer warrior or financial supporter please let us know soon.  Thank you for reading through this small note – We really are excited to see how God works it all out!
