February Note

February 9, 2014 - Author: Scott Hill

Greetings and Salutations!

I do not know how to say it enough or how to express how really grateful we are to have you all as Partners in this calling, but Thank YOU again for your Love of God and sharing with us from what Our Lord has given to you.

Benjamin Daniel recently celebrated his Third birthday and as I was mulling it over I suddenly realized that we have been here with Western Indian Ministries for a full Three years already.  Sarabeth mentioned how fast the years seem to have passed, but how long the days seem to have taken.  It is true: our days are very full of all that God is doing with us as we look forward to serving Him each second of the day.

Please pray for Scott (for wisdom, persistence, and joy), the tyranny of urgent sometimes hinders his generous spirit and he over commits and is delayed in his ability to help others, especially in the area that he does enjoy greatly, that is, working on others computers for them. Also, please pray for new partners in the ministry in meeting the financial need for our family, we are running about $1500/month short in support.  As a financial partner, you know already how much easier it is to meet the need when many people join in the calling.

May you feel God’s blessing as you continue to bless us and His ministry here in Tse Bonito, NM!

In His service,

Scott and Sarabeth Hill

Prayer Concerns heavy on our hearts

January 8, 2014 - Author: Scott Hill

New Year Greetings!  We are so glad to have you alongside us in this ministry.  First of all a Praise to Our Lord, Gabriel Nicholas is now 3 weeks old and our first checkup appointment with the Doctor was very encouraging – he is growing and progressing basically right down the middle of normal.

Second, please pray for Scott’s Dad as he begins a round of microwave treatments on an acoustic neuroma in his ear this January 9th.  He lost the hearing in the ear this past summer and the MRI this last Fall revealed the tumor.  They have opted to use this method of treatment since the tumor is so close to the Brain.

Thirdly, please pray for the mission’s accountant and bookkeeper as they are still reorganizing the mission’s finances to work better and smoother to adapt to all the changes that God is guiding us through.  Please pray for wisdom for Scott as he oversees this process for the mission and advises the General Director in making some tough decisions.

Lastly, please remember Hilltop Christian School in prayer as they work toward setting up the next school year re-opening.  They will need 5 new teachers and at least 100 or so students to enroll to make it happen and we believe that God is leading in that direction.

Thank you again for partnering in the work of Western Indian Ministries and our family.

In His service,

Scott and Sarabeth Hill
